What you learn

Through a mix of practical and theory sessions, we will plant seeds, transplant seedlings, understand the basics of soil health, make compost, and learn to design vegetable-garden systems that can be applied anywhere – from urban balconies and terraces, to farms and backyard patches.

No prior gardening experience is necessary.

We have three options for accommodations: A dorm room (which sleeps ten), a quad room (sleeps four), or a twin-sharing room for two. Our early bird offer gives you a discounted rate if you book before Thursday, Nov 23.

Please keep in mind that all prices are per person only, and the fees include accommodation and food.

Food

Homely South-Indian vegetarian meals will be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also includes plenty of tea, coffee, and milk from farm cows!

Once you’ve decided which room option you’d like (see the table above, for details) follow the steps below:

  2. Use any UPI app to pay the fee to: nehasumitran@okhdfcbank (you can also use the QR code below if required).

    In the subject field of the payment, please put “{your name} : KGW”. So if Neha S were making the payment, in the subject, she would put “Neha S : KGW”.

  3. You will get an email response confirming your participation within 24 hours of us receiving the payment!

    A request: If you’re booking for more than one person (yay!) please make two separate payments, and fill in the form twice, once for each person.

This kitchen gardening workshop is designed for adults. Children above the age of 16 are welcome, if accompanied by an adult participant.
